In an effort to have a little more fun with the website and for you all to get to know us a bit more I am going to tell you a bit about what goes on at the table in our house.
Our son is 2 and a half and LOVES condiments. One day we were discussing what we would like to dream about and he says, this is no joke- "ketchup, mustard...oh and barbesue caus (barbecue sauce)" as he is laying in his crib 20 minutes after he has gotten up from his nap- because he likes to just hang out there.
OK on to the table- I have a sweet tooth and my husband goes for sour. We are really making an effort to get our son to eat vegetables, as most of you know it is not that easy. He loves pickles so my husband decided to purchase giardiniera (those pickled italian vegetable things). Wouldn't you know he is eating cauliflower like it is going out of style. The foodie (?) part is that he likes to take the pickled juice from this mixture and dip his chicken in it and then parmesan cheese...hopefully Top Chef cousin Stephanie will be proud!
